Axis 3 : Addressing mitochondrial pathologies

Two main aspects will be addressed:

1. Understanding mitochondrial dysfunction

Evaluation of the impact of point mutations on tRNA structure and stability / Characterization of mutant mt-aaRSs

2. Developing of new therapeutic tools

Development of mt-transfection/transformation in model plant and human cell lines
